OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Senior Brand Manager creates marketing and product development strategies and ensures the implementation of the assigned client sub-brands in the assigned market, in line with company vision and objectives in the relevant territories.  He / she needs to be part of developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives.

 

 

WHAT IT IS EXPECTED FROM THE SENIOR BRAND MANAGER

  • To be responsible for product development (packaging, NPD), brand related product positioning, planning and executing the brand communication strategy.
  • To provide new product launch and re-launch as planned.
  • Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
  • To follow the market dynamics with research reports and prepare analysis based on market research data (Market Share, Share of Voice, Brand Awareness).
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns (NCP).
  • Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
  • Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
  • To execute short and long term brand strategies and plans.
  • To coordinate the advertising strategies (both ATL and BTL) – experience in media buying is a plus.
  • To follow up consumer activities and PR activities to strengthen the competitive advantage of the brand. Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy – including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
  • Preparing online and print marketing campaigns. Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Creating a wide range of different marketing materials – experience in Trade Marketing – is a plus.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • To prepare and manage annual budget for the brand.

DESIRED STUDIES, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
  • At least 5-7 years of solid brand management experience in FMCG industry – food. Qualification as chartered marketer would be a plus.
  • Strong creative outlook. Very good computer skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to spot original branding opportunities.
  • Strong analytical, project management skills and result-oriented.
  • To be innovative and open to learning.
  • Confident and dynamic personality.
  • Advanced level of English (both verbally and in writing).
  • Market knowledge with focus on FMCG.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Good understanding of market dynamics.
  • Good understanding of sales & distribution channels.
  • Driven and results-oriented.
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills.
  • Driving licence with associated relevant driving experience.
  • Has no restriction to business travel.
